Advice from our agronomist
Sowing The seeds are very small: sow in April on the surface and press in lightly, keeping at 18–22 °C; seedlings emerge in 10–20 days. Prick out and plant out in late May, 40–50 cm apart.
Care Prefers a sunny spot and light, well-drained soil; do not overwater. Divide the clumps every 3–4 years and protect with a light mulch for winter.
Harvest Cut young shoots through summer; use fresh or dry. The aroma is strongest before flowering.
