GREENWORLD flower potting soil, 40 L

• Product: universal potting soil
• Producer: ASB Greenworld
• Volume: 40 l
• Mix: peat with perlite
• Fertiliser: full NPK charge, enough for the first weeks
• Perlite: keeps the structure open and brings air to the roots
• Use for: houseplants, balcony boxes and baskets, summer flowers, container plants
• When: planting and repotting all year round
• Not for: acid-loving plants (rhododendron, blueberry) — they have their own mix
• Storage: closed bag, out of direct sun

Before planting. Shake the bag and let the soil loosen — compressed peat takes up water poorly. If it is dry, moisten it slightly first, otherwise watering runs down the side of the pot past the roots.

Into the pot. Always put drainage at the bottom — expanded clay or gravel — and use pots with holes. The mix is open, but without drainage water still stands.

Feeding. No fertiliser for the first 3–4 weeks: the soil is already charged. After that feed houseplants every two weeks during growth, or use slow-release spikes.

Repotting. Choose a pot 2–3 cm wider than the old one, no more: in an oversized pot the soil stays wet and roots rot. Loosen the old root ball and cut away damaged roots.
