Advice from our agronomist
Planting. Plant in spring in a sheltered, partly shaded spot with humus-rich, well-drained soil. It does not tolerate waterlogging. Mulch around the roots.
Care. Water in dry spells, especially in the first years. No heavy pruning is needed; just remove dead and damaged branches.
Winter. Young plants can suffer in Estonian winters: mulch the root zone and protect from cold wind and early spring sun.
