Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn in a sunny spot in well-drained soil, even a lean one. Space plants 40–50 cm apart.
Watering Water only in dry spells in the first year; established plants are drought tolerant.
Pruning Cut off faded flower heads for a second bloom; remove old growth in spring.
Feeding and winter care Feed sparingly – too much food makes the stems flop. Overwinters without cover. Fully hardy; needs no cover.
