About this product
Wrinkled pea «Zsuzsi» (Pisum sativum) — a medium-late, very productive shelling pea. Plants reach 80-85 cm, pods are very long, 9-10 cm, with 8-10 large dark green peas.
The pods shell easily, which matters with a big crop. The peas suit eating fresh, canning and freezing — frozen, they keep colour and sweetness.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow early. Peas like it cool: sow in late April or early May as soon as the soil has dried. Seedlings survive light frosts.
Give support. A tall variety needs netting or twiggy sticks to climb — pods lying on the ground rot and are hard to pick.
Rotate. Do not sow peas in the same place for 4-5 years: pea diseases build up in the soil. Peas leave nitrogen behind for the next crop.
