About this product
Root parsley «Orbis» (Petroselinum crispum var. tuberosum) — a medium-early, high-yielding root parsley that does well even in heavier soils. Roots are white, smooth and 20-22 cm long.
The root is eaten fresh, used in cooking and keeps for a long time. The dark green, fairly tall leaves are eaten too, so one bed gives both root and greens. It can also be sown in autumn for an early spring crop.
Pack of 1,5 g. Made by Žalia stotelė.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow in loose soil. In heavy soil germination is poor and roots come out short, forked and split. Dig the bed deeply and do not use fresh manure.
Keep moist until emergence. The seed is slow, 2-3 weeks; the surface must not dry out meanwhile.
Thin in time. At 2-3 leaves thin to 3-5 cm apart — in a crowded row roots stay thin.
