About this product

Complete garden fertiliser is a balanced mineral feed holding everything a plant needs for growth: nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in the right ratio, plus trace elements.

It suits almost everything in the garden: tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, strawberries, perennials and annuals, vegetables, fruit trees, lawns, roses and conifers — outdoors and under glass alike.

Granular, dust-free and easy to spread evenly. The pack holds 1 kg, enough for roughly 30 m² of beds. Produced by Baltic Agro.

Advice from our agronomist

When to feed. First in spring once the soil has thawed and growth starts; again a month later at peak growth; a third time at the end of July. Stop in August — late nitrogen pushes soft shoots that will not ripen before winter.

How to feed. Spread the granules evenly over the bed, rake them 3–5 cm into the soil and water. A granule left dry on the surface does nothing, and burns any leaf it happens to land on.

How much. Less rather than more: an overfed plant runs to leaf and becomes defenceless against disease, and the surplus washes into the groundwater. 1 kg per 30 m² is one proper feed, not the whole season's ration.

At planting. Never tip granules into the planting hole onto bare roots. Either mix them into the soil beforehand or feed a week after planting, once the roots have settled.

For pots. Nutrients run out faster in a container. Use it at half the usual strength but more often — every two weeks with the watering.

What to avoid. Dry soil: fertiliser on dry ground burns roots. Water before and after. And do not use it in autumn — this is a spring and summer feed.
