Watering Water evenly in dry spells in spring and early summer; stop watering a few weeks before harvest.
Pruning If flower stalks appear, cut them off in mid June – the bulb will grow larger.
Feeding and winter care Feed with a nitrogen fertiliser in spring and a balanced one in early June; do not use fresh manure. Hardy; before the first winter cover the bed with 5 cm of mulch (spruce boughs, hay, peat).
