Light and position Needs bright indirect light; direct sun scorches the leaves. Keep warm and draught-free, away from cold windows.
Watering Water when the top 3–4 cm of soil is dry; keep it moist but not wet, in a pot with drainage. Water much less in winter.
Humidity and care Likes high humidity; mist the leaves or use a humidifier. In winter it may go dormant and drop leaves – this is normal.
Feeding and repotting Feed every 2–4 weeks in the growing season with a foliage fertiliser at half strength; not in winter. Repot in spring into a light, airy mix.
