About this product
Courgette “Ambassador F1” (Cucurbita pepo) is an early, high-yielding bush hybrid giving its first fruits in about 51 days. The cylindrical fruits are 18-20 cm long, with glossy dark green skin and white flesh.
The harvest period is long: the skin stays soft, the seeds are slow to mature and the fruits are easy to pick. Sow for transplants in April or outdoors in May-June, and harvest in July-August. Use it for preserving, frying, stewing and stuffing.
The pack contains 1 g of seed, made by Žalia stotelė.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow into warm soil. Push the seeds in edgeways 2-3 cm deep only once the soil has warmed; plant out raised transplants after the night frosts. The pack holds only a few seeds, so sow one per station.
Keep the bed moist. Courgettes need steady watering, especially while the fruits are swelling. A mulch holds moisture, keeps fruits clean and suppresses weeds.
Harvest regularly. Cut fruits at 18-20 cm with a knife, leaving a short stalk. Frequent picking keeps the plant cropping all summer.
