About this product
Spider flower «Cherry Queen» (Cleome hassleriana) is a tall annual reaching 100 cm. The cherry pink flower heads grow up to 20 cm and carry long stamens that give the plant its airy, spider-like look.
It looks best in groups at the back or along the edge of a bed. The plant stays decorative until the first frosts, and as a cut flower it lasts about a week in the vase.
The pack contains 0.4 g of seed, made by Žalia stotelė.

Advice from our agronomist
Start indoors. Sow in March-April and plant out after the last frosts, in late May or early June, about 40 cm apart.
Choose a sunny, sheltered spot. The tall plant needs protection from wind and grows best in fertile, well-drained soil.
Feed in summer. Give a flowering plant fertiliser every 2-3 weeks and the spider flower will bloom generously until autumn.
