Tietoa tuotteesta
Armeria maritima "Rosea" is a pink-flowered form of sea thrift, a low perennial that forms dense cushions covered in round pink flower heads in spring and early summer. Buy Armeria "Rosea" in Estonia from the ALLIKASILM nursery.
The cushion of narrow dark green leaves is evergreen and stays neat even in winter. Flower stems reach 15–20 cm, flowering lasts from May to July, and deadheading encourages a few later blooms.
It is drought and wind tolerant, copes with poor sandy soil and suits rock gardens, the front of borders, path edges and containers. The flowers attract pollinators.

Agronomin neuvot
Planting. Plant in full sun in light, well-drained soil; add sand or fine grit to heavy clay. Space 20–25 cm apart at the same depth as in the pot.
Watering and feeding. Water after planting and in dry spells during the first summer; after that thrift is drought tolerant. No feeding is needed – rich soil makes the cushions loose.
Care. Cut off spent flower stems to keep the clump tidy and encourage a few more blooms. Divide old clumps that go bare in the middle every 3–4 years in spring.
Gardener's tip. Winter wet is more dangerous than frost – choose a spot where water does not stand in spring.
