About this product
Artemisia stelleriana "Boughton Silver" is a low ground-cover perennial grown for its silvery-white, felted, deeply lobed foliage. Buy Artemisia "Boughton Silver" in Estonia from the ALLIKASILM nursery — pot-grown plants.
It forms a low, spreading mat that looks good all season. Small yellowish flower heads may appear in summer, but the foliage is the main feature.
Ideal for rock and gravel gardens, the front of borders, balcony boxes and containers, and as a silver contrast to flowering perennials. Tolerates drought and sandy soil.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting. Plant in spring or early autumn in full sun in light, sandy or gritty, well-drained soil.
Watering and feeding. Water only while establishing; afterwards it tolerates drought. No feeding — rich soil dulls the silver foliage.
Care. Trim damaged shoots in spring to keep the mat dense. Flower heads can be removed to keep the foliage at its best.
Winter. Hardy but dislikes winter wet — good drainage matters most.
