Perennial aster (Aster) Aster lateriflorus ‘Lady in Black’ – white-lilac-purple flowers and purple foliage, blooming August to October.
An autumn-flowering perennial with masses of daisy-like flowers that feed bees and butterflies late in the season. Suits borders, beds, mixed plantings and cutting; blooms when many perennials have finished.
Sold as a container-grown plant (15 cm pot); it can be planted throughout the growing season.
