Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn in a sunny spot in well-drained, slightly limy soil. Space plants 30–40 cm apart.
Watering Water moderately; tolerates drought but not standing water.
Pruning After flowering shear the plant back by half – it keeps the carpet dense and may give a second flush.
Feeding and winter care Needs no fertiliser; on poor soil lightly with compost in spring. Overwinters without cover but keep it out of winter wet. Hardy; needs no cover.
