About this product
Tomato “Baton Rouge” F1 (Solanum lycopersicum) is a mid-early, indeterminate, high-yielding saladette hybrid. Its vigorous, dark-leaved plants set 5–6 uniform, fleshy fruits of 120–130 g on every truss, and it resists most common diseases.
Sow indoors in February–March and grow under glass at 90 × 40 cm. Harvesting runs from June to September. The fruit is good fresh and ideal for canning, sauces and tomato paste.
The pack contains 10 seeds, made by Žalia stotelė.

Advice from our agronomist
Give seedlings light. A windowsill is not enough for a February sowing, so use a grow light. Keep them at about +20 °C by day and a couple of degrees cooler at night to keep them stocky.
Plant under glass in early May. In a warm greenhouse, early-raised plants can go in during the first days of May. Fix the strings at once and train each plant on a single stem.
Harvest by the truss. Fruits on a truss ripen almost together. Water regularly and feed every two weeks with a tomato fertiliser.
