About this product
Japanese barberry Berberis thunbergii ‘Maria’ is an upright shrub with golden-yellow foliage whose edges may flush red. A good choice for a bright splash of colour – barberry plants for sale in our nursery.
An undemanding, hardy shrub that tolerates drought and clipping. The foliage colour is strongest in full sun. The stems are thorny, so it also makes a protective hedge, but wear gloves when working with it. Available in two sizes: a 20 cm pot and a larger plant.
