Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow from early May to early June 2–3 cm deep, with rows 25–30 cm apart, and thin to 6–10 cm. Seedlings emerge in 7–14 days.
Care Water evenly and hoe the soil; irregular watering causes cracking and ringing. Avoid excess nitrogen.
Harvest Lift the roots in September–October before hard frosts, trim the tops to 2–3 cm and store in a cool, damp place.
