About this product
Tomato “Buffalosteak” F1 (Solanum lycopersicum) is a very early oxheart hybrid. Its tall plants carry very large, tasty and meaty fruits weighing up to 700 g.
Sow in March about 1 cm deep; covering the tray with glass or film gives faster, more even germination. Grow the plants under glass at 60 × 40 cm and harvest from June to August. The fruit is excellent in salads, soups and sauces.
The pack contains 10 seeds, made by Lucia ELITE.

Advice from our agronomist
Cover the sowing. In March sow 1 cm deep in moist compost and cover the tray with glass or film. Ventilate daily and remove the cover as soon as the seed leaves appear.
Plant deeper. When moving plants into the greenhouse in May, set the stem a few centimetres deeper than it was in the pot so that extra roots form.
Support the heavy crop. Tie the stem to a strong support and leave 2–3 fruits per truss. Water evenly, because large fruits split when drought and rain alternate.
