Agronomo patarimai
Planting. Plant in spring or early autumn in sun or part shade in well-drained soil. Lighten heavy clay with sand or grit; space plants about 30 cm apart.
Watering and feeding. Water regularly until established, then only in prolonged drought. It needs little feeding — a little compost in spring is enough.
Care. Cut back faded flower stems after the first flush and it will often bloom again. Divide the clump in spring every 3–4 years.
Winter. A hardy perennial that usually needs no cover. Winter wet is a greater risk than frost, so avoid spots where water collects.
