Agronomo patarimai
Planting. Plant in spring or early autumn in sun or light shade, leaving room – the clump grows up to 1 m wide. Avoid waterlogging on heavy clay.
Watering and feeding. Water until established, then only in drought. Compost in spring is enough.
Care. Stake the stems in open, windy sites. Cut stems down after flowering to keep the plant tidy and limit self-seeding. Divide in spring.
Gardener's tip. Cephalaria looks great with blue and purple perennials – salvia, catmint, delphinium – and with ornamental grasses.
