Agronoma ieteikumi
Planting. Stand the pot or plant it out in a sunny spot sheltered from wind. In boxes leave 25–30 cm between plants so air can circulate and the flowers do not rot.
Watering and feeding. Water regularly — compost in pots dries quickly and wilting shortens flowering. No feeding is needed while in flower.
Care. Pick off faded flowers and keep the leaves dry by watering the soil, not the plant. Move the pot under cover before hard frosts (below −5 °C).
Gardener's tip. To try overwintering, plant it in the ground in early September, cut back to 10 cm after flowering and mulch with leaves or conifer branches.
