Cornus alba "Gouchaultii" +-1m, 20 cm pot
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Tatarian dogwood Cornus alba Gouchaultii is a variegated cultivar: green leaves with a yellowish-cream edge that can show pink tones in spring and early summer, and reddish stems in winter. A cheerful but undemanding choice if you want to buy a colourful deciduous shrub.
It grows in sun or part shade, tolerates moist soil and is very frost hardy. Use it in shrub groups, hedges or as a light accent next to darker plants; cut some old stems low in spring to keep the colour fresh. Plant supplied in a 20 cm pot.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn in sun or light shade, in fertile, well-drained soil. Dig a hole about twice as wide as the root ball, set the plant at the same depth as in the pot and water well.
Care Water regularly in the first season, later only in long dry spells. Mulch the root zone with bark or leaf compost and in spring remove frost-damaged, old and crowded shoots.
Use Shrub groups, hedges, bright accents and winter colour.
