Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow in mid to late May 2–3 cm deep directly in the bed, or in late April in individual pots; seedlings emerge in 5–7 days. Plant young seedlings in their final spot in early June after the last frosts, 60–80 cm apart.
Care Prefers a sunny spot and compost-rich soil. Water generously at the root, feed every two weeks and keep the leaves dry.
Harvest Pick the fruits young and regularly, every 2–3 days; frequent picking encourages new fruits to form.
