About this product
Tomato “Delicato” F1 (Solanum lycopersicum) is a very early, disease-resistant and prolific small-fruited hybrid. The indeterminate plant grows to about 180 cm, and each truss carries around 12 fruits that ripen almost together.
The elongated fruits weigh about 40 g, resist cracking and hold on the truss for a long time. It suits the greenhouse, balcony and open garden, spaced 60 × 40 cm. Sow indoors in March–April. Enjoy the tomatoes fresh or dried.
The pack contains 0.1 g of seed (about 20–30 seeds), made by Lucia ELITE.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow in late March. This very early hybrid does not need a long start. Sow somewhere warm and prick out the seedlings once the first true leaf appears.
Use a large pot on the balcony. Choose a container of at least 10 litres in a sunny, sheltered spot. Stake the tall plant from the start and plant outdoors only in early June.
Pick whole trusses. The fruits on a truss ripen together and do not drop, so the whole truss can be cut at once. For drying, halve the tomatoes and dry them at a low temperature.
