About this product
Sweet William Dianthus barbatus Barbarella is a low cultivar with dense flower heads in mixed shades from white through pink to red. A good buy for scented June–July flowers at the front of a border.
It prefers sun and well-drained soil. Usually biennial: it forms a leaf rosette in the first year and flowers in the second, then renews itself by self-seeding. Remove faded heads for longer flowering. Frost hardy.
