Planting. Plant in spring or early autumn at the same depth the plant grew in its pot; dig a hole slightly wider than the pot and water well afterwards.
Care. Needs well-drained soil; excess moisture is harmful. Water only during long dry spells. A layer of mulch keeps moisture in and suppresses weeds; spent flowers and dry leaves can be removed.
Winter. In the first winter cover the young plant lightly with mulch or spruce branches.
