Bleeding heart (Dicentra) Lamprocapnos spectabilis ‘Yellow Leaf’ – pink heart-shaped flowers and yellow lacy foliage, blooming May–June.
A shade-tolerant perennial with arching stems bearing hanging heart-shaped flowers. Suits shady beds, planting under trees and beside hostas and ferns; neighbouring plants hide the fading foliage after flowering.
Sold as a container-grown plant (9 cm pot); it can be planted throughout the growing season.
