Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn in shade or part shade in humus-rich, moisture-retentive soil. Space plants 30–40 cm apart.
Watering Water regularly in the first year; established plants tolerate dry periods.
Pruning Cut off old leaves in early spring before flowering so the new leaves and flowers show better.
Feeding and winter care Feed in spring with compost and mulch with leaf mould. Overwinters without cover. Hardy; needs no cover.
