About this product
Erk is a mid-early, high-yielding tall (indeterminate) tomato.
Each truss carries 5–6 bright red, flat-round fruits averaging 125–130 g, with no green spot at the stem end; the flesh is fleshy, firm and juicy.
The fruits withstand transport well, do not crack and look attractive on the market. Grow in a greenhouse. Pack contains 0.1 g of seeds, produced by Seston.

Advice from our agronomist
When to sow. Sow seeds from late March to early April 0.5–1 cm deep in light peat-based compost; germination needs 22–25 °C.
Planting. Prick out seedlings at the 2–3 true-leaf stage into individual pots. Plant into the greenhouse in mid-May, outdoors only in early June after the last frosts, 40–50 cm apart.
Care. This tall variety needs staking and regular removal of side shoots – train it to one or two stems. Water regularly with warm water, avoiding wet leaves.
Feeding and harvest. Feed every 10–14 days with tomato fertiliser, potassium-rich during flowering. Pick ripe fruit regularly to encourage new ones to ripen.
