Agronoma ieteikumi
Planting. Plant from April to October; for ground cover allow 3–4 plants per m². Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball and add compost.
Watering and feeding. Water regularly in the first summer, later only in drought. Feed in spring with a shrub fertiliser; no nitrogen after August.
Care. In spring cut out frost-damaged shoots and any that have reverted to plain green. Trim for shape until the end of June.
Gardener's tip. On exposed, windy sites the bright March sun can scorch the leaves — cover with conifer branches for the first winters or plant where snow collects.
