Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow seeds from late January to March on the soil surface, pressing them in lightly without covering — the seeds need light to germinate. Keep at 18–22 °C and moist; seedlings emerge in 2–4 weeks. Prick out at the 2–3 true-leaf stage. Plant out after the last frosts, 30–40 cm apart.
Care Water regularly and keep the soil lightly moist; feed monthly with a berry fertiliser. Also suits containers, balconies and terraces.
Harvest A remontant cultivar crops in several waves through the summer; pick the berries fully ripe.
