Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in a sunny spot in well-drained soil, 40–50 cm apart. The long taproot dislikes transplanting, so choose a permanent site.
Care Water young plants in dry spells; established plants are drought tolerant. Remove faded flower spikes for longer flowering. Leave stems as winter protection in autumn and cut back in spring.
Use Suits borders, rock gardens, pots and cutting. A good companion for grasses and sun-loving perennials.
