Advice from our agronomist
Planting. Plant the corms in early May, once the soil has warmed up, in a sunny, sheltered, well-drained spot about 10 cm deep and 15–20 cm apart.
Care. Water regularly, especially while flowering; tie tall flower spikes to a support. Cut the spike off when it has finished flowering.
Winter. Gladioli do not overwinter in open ground in Estonia: lift the corms after the first frosts, let them dry and store them over winter in a cool, frost-free place.
