About this product
Tomato “Gourmandia” F1 (Solanum lycopersicum) is a tall (indeterminate), high-yielding and exceptionally tasty hybrid. Its heart-shaped fruits resemble the Oxheart type and weigh 200-250 g. The flesh is soft, sweet and juicy, with very few seeds.
The hybrid is resistant to many diseases. Sow for transplants from February to April and grow the plants in a greenhouse, leaving 40-75 cm between rows and 50-100 cm between plants. The large, meaty fruits are best enjoyed fresh and in salads.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow somewhere warm. Sow from February to April into light compost about 1 cm deep and keep at +22-25 °C until germination. Then move seedlings somewhere brighter and slightly cooler so they do not become leggy.
Plant into the greenhouse in late May. Allow 50-100 cm between plants. Tie the stem to a string or cane straight away and pinch out side shoots regularly.
Water evenly. Water less often but deeply, ideally in the morning and at the base. Steady moisture prevents fruit splitting; ventilate the greenhouse on hot days.
