About this product
Tomato “Gourmansun” F1 (Solanum lycopersicum) is an early, disease-resistant tall hybrid. Its large heart-shaped fruits weigh 200–600 g and are yellow streaked with orange, with thick, meaty flesh. The flavour is rich and aromatic, and each fruit holds only a few seeds.
Sow indoors for transplants in February or March; the harvest runs from July to September. This hybrid is meant for the greenhouse, where its long stem can be properly supported. Enjoy the fruit as a snack, in salads or in sauces.

Advice from our agronomist
Sow early and warm. In late February or March press the seeds about 1 cm deep into a light compost and keep them at room temperature. Once the seedlings show two true leaves, prick them out into individual pots.
Move them under glass. Plant into the greenhouse in May, when nights stay reliably mild. Allow 90 × 40 cm and tie each stem to a cane straight away.
Train to a single stem. Pinch out side shoots regularly and water evenly so that the large fruits do not split. Pick once the yellow colour has fully developed.
