Advice from our agronomist
Light and position Grows in bright indirect light or part shade; variegated forms need more light. Do not keep it too warm and dry next to a radiator.
Watering Water when the top of the soil has dried; keep the root ball lightly moist but not wet. Water less often in winter in a cool spot.
Humidity and care Mist the leaves now and then and rinse them under a shower once a month – dry warm air invites spider mites. Pinch the tips to make it branch.
Feeding and repotting Feed from spring to autumn every 2–4 weeks with a foliage fertiliser; not in winter. Repot in spring when roots fill the pot.
