Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn in a sunny spot in moist, humus-rich soil; dry soil is unsuitable. Space plants 50–60 cm apart.
Watering Water regularly in the first year, later in dry spells.
Pruning Cut dry stems back in autumn or early spring; old foliage protects the plant in winter.
Feeding and winter care Feed in spring with compost or a slow-release fertiliser. Hardy; no extra cover is needed.
