Epsom salt for conifers is magnesium sulphate (Holding Invest, HI) in a 1 kg pack. It contains 16% magnesium oxide (MgO) and 32% SO₃ in water-soluble form.
Magnesium is part of chlorophyll, so the salt helps prevent yellowing and browning of needles and restores a healthy green colour in conifers (spruce, pine, thuja, juniper). It also suits ornamental plants and lawns.
The crystalline fertiliser dissolves quickly in water: water or spray the plants 3–4 times during the growing season. Timing is also printed on the pack.

Agronoma ieteikumi
Use. Dissolve the crystals fully in water and water conifers with the solution, for example along thuja or spruce hedges.
Rate. For watering use 30–50 g per 10 L of water, for foliar spraying 50 g per 10 L of water. Spray in the evening or in overcast weather.
Frequency. Feed 3–4 times per growing season: in spring at the start of growth and then through summer until the end of July.
Cautions. Do not exceed the rate. Yellow needles can also come from drought or winter damage, so check watering. Keep out of reach of children.
