About this product
Hosta sieboldiana is a large-leaved hosta with blue-grey, deeply puckered foliage. In June-July pale lilac to white bell-shaped flowers rise above the leaves.
It grows 60-90 cm tall and 90-120 cm wide and makes a superb accent in a shade garden, alone or in groups. The foliage is decorative all season.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting. Plant in spring or September in shade or part shade, in humus-rich soil. Space plants 80-100 cm apart, as it spreads wide.
Care. Keep the soil evenly moist and mulch. In sun and wind the leaves scorch and the blue tone fades.
Watering and feeding. Water generously, especially in dry weather. Feed with compost or slow-release fertiliser in spring and control slugs if needed.
Winter care and pruning. Fully hardy. Remove dead leaves in autumn or spring and divide overgrown clumps in spring.
