About this product
Wavy hosta "Albomarginata" (Hosta undulata) is a handsome shade perennial with wavy green leaves edged with a creamy-white margin. It forms a dense, low mound of foliage.
In summer lavender flowers rise above the leaves (July-August). This hosta is ideal for shady borders, planting under trees and woodland gardens.
The mature plant reaches about 30-45 cm in height and up to 60 cm in width. It overwinters well in Estonia (USDA zones 3-9) and is easy to grow. Supplied in a 1 L pot.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting. Plant hostas in spring or early autumn in part shade or shade, in humus-rich soil. Space plants 40-60 cm apart and do not bury the crown.
Care. Hostas are long-lived and easy, but hot direct sun scorches the leaves. Remove spent leaves and flower stalks and watch for slugs that damage the foliage.
Watering and feeding. Water regularly and generously, the soil should not dry out. Feed in spring with well-rotted compost or a slow-release fertiliser.
Winter and pruning. Fully hardy, no cover needed. Cut back the faded foliage in autumn or leave it until spring and clear it away then.
