About this product
Panicle hydrangea Hydrangea paniculata Pixio – a more compact cultivar whose white flower heads turn pinkish as they age. Buying a hydrangea Pixio makes sense if you want a long-flowering, frost-hardy shrub.
It blooms from July into autumn and the flower heads also dry well. It prefers sun or part shade and fertile, evenly moist soil; water well in dry spells. It flowers on new wood, so prune it back in spring to get large panicles. Potted plant.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn in sun or light shade, in fertile, well-drained soil. Dig a hole about twice as wide as the root ball, set the plant at the same depth as in the pot and water well.
Care Water regularly in the first season, later only in long dry spells. Mulch the root zone with bark or leaf compost and in spring remove frost-damaged, old and crowded shoots.
Use Back of borders, shrub groups, specimen plant and cut flowers; also suits a large container.
