Par preci
St John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) – a perennial native to Estonia with golden-yellow flowers, well known as a medicinal and tea herb. Buy St John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) plants in Estonia from the ALLIKASILM nursery.
Upright branching stems carry dense clusters of yellow flowers in midsummer. Held against the light, the leaves show translucent gland dots – hence the name “perforatum”. Undemanding and drought tolerant.
Suits herb gardens, naturalistic and meadow-style planting and dry sunny spots; the flowers attract insects.
