Advice from our agronomist
Sowing Sow in March–April in pots, covering lightly, and plant out in late May 30–40 cm apart. Direct sowing in May is also possible.
Care An undemanding perennial that needs sun and well-drained, lime-rich soil. Cut back in spring to keep the bush compact.
Flowering and harvest Dark blue fragrant flowers open over a long period in summer and attract insects. Cut shoots at the start of flowering.
