Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring (May) in sun to light shade in moisture-retentive, well-drained soil. Space plants 30–40 cm apart.
Watering Water regularly, especially in the first year; the soil should not dry out completely.
Pruning Remove dry leaves in spring; if the plant reverts to green, cut out the green shoots.
Feeding and winter care Feed lightly with compost in spring. Less hardy than other grasses: cover with a thick mulch layer in the first winters and shelter from wind.
