Juniperus communis "Stricta" 20 cm pot
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Common juniper “Stricta” is a narrow, columnar cultivar with blue-green, prickly foliage. The crown is dense and slim and rarely grows wider than a metre. Very frost hardy, tolerant of poor soil, and suitable for rows, rock gardens and small gardens.
Juniperus communis “Stricta” for sale straight from the garden centre: it works as a specimen, in hedges and group plantings, in rock gardens or in a large container. Juniper likes sun and well-drained soil and is drought tolerant once established. Mind the cultivar hardiness and shelter young plants from heavy snow and spring sun. Plant supplied in a 20 cm pot.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in a sunny spot in well-drained, not too rich soil. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball and keep the plant at the same depth as in the pot. Water well and mulch after planting.
Care Water regularly in dry spells in the first year, then only rarely. Feeding needs are low; a spring conifer fertiliser is enough. Prune out only dry branches to keep the shape.
Use Suits hedges, specimens, rock gardens and large pots. All parts are poisonous, so keep away from children and pets.
