About this product
Creeping juniper Juniperus horizontalis Andorra Compact is a low, ground-covering conifer whose grey-green foliage takes on a plum-purple tint in winter. A good choice if you want to buy a hardy, undemanding cover for a slope or rock garden.
It loves sun and well-drained soil and tolerates drought and poor ground. Plant about 60–80 cm apart for a continuous carpet. Good for stabilising slopes, planting between stones and large containers. Plant supplied in a 20 cm pot.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn (container plants can go in all season) in sun to light shade, in well-drained soil. Keep the root collar level with the ground and do not plant too deep.
Care Water regularly for the first two years, especially in a dry autumn before winter. Mulch the soil and feed with a conifer fertiliser in spring; little pruning is needed. Shield a young plant with a cover from winter sun and drying wind in its first winter.
Use Slopes, rock gardens, ground cover and containers.
