Juníperus virginiana "Burkii" 20 cm pot
Seller: ALLIKASILM
About this product
Eastern red cedar Juniperus virginiana Burkii is a conifer with a narrow, column-shaped crown whose blue-grey foliage takes on a bronze-purple tone in winter. If you want to buy a Burkii juniper as a vertical accent, it is a dense, compact cultivar needing little care.
It prefers full sun and well-drained soil, tolerates drought and is frost hardy. Use it by driveways, in hedges and in groups where an upright silhouette is wanted. Shield young plants from winter sun in the first winters. Plant supplied in a 20 cm pot.

Advice from our agronomist
Planting Plant in spring or autumn (container plants can go in all season) in sun to light shade, in well-drained soil. Keep the root collar level with the ground and do not plant too deep.
Care Water regularly for the first two years, especially in a dry autumn before winter. Mulch the soil and feed with a conifer fertiliser in spring; little pruning is needed. Shield a young plant with a cover from winter sun and drying wind in its first winter.
Use Vertical accent, hedge, by entrances and in group plantings.
