Eastern red cedar “Schottii” is a slender, conical conifer with soft light green to yellowish-green foliage that stays fresh all winter. The crown is dense and naturally symmetrical, so it needs very little pruning. Use it as a specimen, in a tall hedge or as a backdrop for perennials.

Juniper likes sun and well-drained soil and is drought tolerant once established. Mind the cultivar hardiness and shelter young plants from heavy snow and spring sun. Plant height about 1.5–2 m.
