Pfitzer juniper "Mint Julep" — a spreading cultivar of Juniperus × pfitzeriana with bright mint-green foliage and arching, slightly twisting branch tips.
A mature shrub reaches 1.2–1.8 m tall and 1.8–3 m wide according to catalogues, with moderate growth. The fresh colour holds all year and the cultivar tolerates urban conditions.
It suits sunny slopes, ground cover on large areas, groups and conifer plantings. Allow for the wide habit and space plants at least 1.5–2 m apart.

Agronomin neuvot
Planting. Plant from April to May or in September in full sun. Soil: well-drained; dry and poor soil is tolerated. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball, keep the root collar level with the ground, water thoroughly and mulch with 5 cm of bark.
Care. In spring or early summer trim only young growth to keep the arching shape. Remove dead twigs and watch for needle spotting in shady sites.
Watering and feeding. Water young plants regularly in the first season; an established shrub is drought tolerant and needs water only in long dry spells. Feed with a conifer fertiliser in spring and early summer; avoid nitrogen from August.
Winter care and pruning. Hardy; shake off heavy snow. Old wood does not regrow, so prune with care.
